Nyerere National Park — formerly Selous Game Reserve — is one of the largest protected wildernesses in Africa, about a 50 minute flight from Zanzibar. Its remote, pristine landscapes are shaped by the mighty Rufiji River.
Spend the day searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and an incredible variety of birdlife, then fly back to Zanzibar in the evening.
