What to expect

Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is Zanzibar's biggest national park and the last sanctuary of the endangered Zanzibar red colobus monkey (“Kima Punju”) — a species found nowhere else on Earth.

Walk under towering mahogany trees, cross the mangrove reserve on elevated boardwalks and learn about medicinal plants still used by local communities today.
