Spice Farm
Walk through a working spice plantation with a local guide. Smell, touch and taste cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla, watch a coconut-climbing show with songs, and leave with a small local gift.

Midday
Stone Town
Explore the UNESCO-listed old town: carved doors, coral-stone houses, the Old Fort, the House of Wonders, the former Slave Market and the birthplace of Freddie Mercury.

Afternoon
Prison Island
A short boat ride to Changuu Island to meet the giant Aldabra tortoises, see the old quarantine buildings and swim or snorkel off the beach.
