Overview
What to expect
Mnemba Atoll is a protected marine area off the north-east coast and one of the best snorkelling spots in East Africa. We head out by boat from Matemwe or Nungwi in the morning, when wild dolphins are most often seen.
Slip into the water with the dolphins, then snorkel over coral gardens full of tropical fish, starfish and the occasional turtle. Fresh fruit is served on board before we head back.
